Splitit Gateway
Splitit is an external gateway that lets customers pay in installments using their existing credit card. Unlike traditional Buy Now, Pay Later providers, Splitit does not require the customer to apply for a new loan, undergo a credit check, or pay added interest.
Fees on this gateway:
PaymentsAI charges a 1% platform fee per transaction for Splitit, on top of Splitit's own fees. See Pricing and Fees.

- In the window that opens, provide your Splitit Terminal ID.
- On successful connection, you are returned to PaymentsAI and the Splitit row in the Gateways tab shows Successfully Connected.

Payout
You receive the full purchase amount immediately upfront, less applicable gateway fees. Splitit collects the installments from the customer's card on the agreed schedule.
How it works
Splitit splits a charge into installments against the available limit on the customer's existing credit card. Because there is no new line of credit involved, customers do not undergo a separate application or credit check.
