Payments AI Gateway

The Payments AI Gateway is the native gateway. It requires no external account and no backend processor, as Payments AI processes payments on this gateway directly. It becomes available after your account application is approved.

Getting started

The Payments AI Gateway is activated through an application and review process:

  1. Complete the gateway application and onboarding form.
  2. Upload the requested documents. See KYC Required Documents.
  3. Payments AI completes its review, which may include a manual review.
  4. Once approved, the gateway is active and ready to process live payments.

No processor to connect:

Unlike external gateways, the Payments AI Gateway does not require you to open an account with a backend processor or to obtain a VAR sheet. Processing is handled by Payments AI. If you need a VAR sheet for the Payments AI Gateway (for example, for your own bank or internal systems), Payments AI can provide one on request.

Reviews and risk

  • KYC period reviews: Accounts undergo periodic re-verification. See KYC Overview.
