Supported Payment Methods
PaymentsAI allows you to connect multiple payment gateways and accept payments from shoppers across a wide range of countries and currencies.
Shopper Countries
These are the countries your customers can pay from — distinct from the countries where you can register a merchant account (see Merchant Account Countries below). PaymentsAI accepts payments from shoppers across a wide range of countries and territories worldwide. For the full current list, see the List of Supported Countries.
Supported Currencies
PaymentsAI supports a wide range of ISO currency codes, including:

Card-brand currency restrictions when processed through the PaymentsAI Gateway:
- JCB, Discover, and Diners Club International cards can only be charged in USD.
- American Express cannot be charged in certain currencies. Affected currencies include AMD, BSD, BHD, BBD, BYR, BMD, BOB, CRC, DOP, XCD, GEL, GIP, GTQ, INR, JMD, NAD, PKR, PAB, PEN, RSD, SDG, TTD, UYU, UZS, and VND, among others. Merchant Account Countries
These are the countries where you can register a merchant account and integrate with the PaymentsAI Gateway. This is separate from where your customers can pay from: once integrated, you accept payments from shoppers across all supported shopper countries. The PaymentsAI Gateway is currently available for merchants registered in the following countries.

If your country is not listed, you can still register for PaymentsAI and connect third-party gateways such as Stripe or PayPal that may be available in your region. More countries are being added regularly.

Note:
When processed through the PaymentsAI Gateway, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club cards can only be charged in USD. Third-party gateways (such as Stripe or NMI) have their own currency rules for these card brands.
Digital Wallets

Additional Gateways
In addition to the PaymentsAI Gateway, you can connect the following third-party gateways to your account:

| Splitit | Interest-free installments on a customer's existing credit card. Available in 36 countries, with 2 to 12 monthly installments, and supports Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Maestro, JCB, and Diners Club. See Splitit. |
To connect an additional gateway, go to the Gateways tab in the top navigation bar and select the gateway you want to add. You can also submit a request for gateways not yet listed by using the Request a Gateway option in the same tab.
Note:
Klarna and Coinbase are currently available for invoice-based payments only and are not available as direct checkout elements. Your Integration Consultant can advise on how to set these up for your workflow.
